Summary

This website doesn't use cookies, doesn't track your visits and doesn't load content from third-party servers: fonts and images are served from our own hosting. The only personal data we collect is your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the Youniquely Family newsletter, we process your email address and your preferred language to send you news about our books, gift ideas and offers from our Etsy shop.

The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by ticking the box and confirming the email we send you (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us.

We keep your data while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep only what's needed to respect your choice and to prove the consent you gave, for as long as the law requires.

The newsletter is managed with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which acts as our data processor and stores the data in the European Union.

Spam protection

To prevent abuse of the sign-up form, our server keeps for 10 minutes a code calculated from your IP address (a one-way hash, from which the IP can't be recovered) and the time of your attempts. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the service (article 6.1.f GDPR).

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostalia, a Spanish hosting provider that acts as our data processor, in Spain. Like any web server, it records technical data of each visit (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser) in its logs, to serve the pages and keep them secure. We don't use these logs to identify you or to analyze visits.

Purchases on Etsy

When you buy one of our books, you do it on Etsy. Etsy and we (as the seller) process the data of your order under Etsy's privacy policy, which you can read on Etsy. We use your order details only to prepare, print and ship your book.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to contact@youniquelykids.com. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
